About Me: I'm in the Oklahoma Army National Guard and have been for the last 9 yrs. For the most part I really like it. Right now I'm assigned to the public affairs office and I really love the people I work with and the job I do. The Guard pays for my school so I decided to go back and start working for my Masters in Public Health. I've completed 12 hours now of classes and things seem to be going pretty smoothly for me in school. Seems to take up tons of my time!! I also have 3 part time jobs. I'm substitute teaching for Moore and Norman schools. I really like it and the schedule is super flexible- great for a student. I also started a student graduate research assistant position at OUHSC with the Center for Biosecurity Research. It's what I'm getting my degree in and so far I just love it!! I don't have much free time but when I do I really like shopping and finding bargains. I don't know if Pop Culture counts as a hobby but it really should. I'm all into music, tv, movies, fashion, stuff like that. If you wanna know who just got divorce/married/pregnant in Hollywood ask me. If you wanna know who got kicked off Survivor or the Apprentice-I can help. Hey, at least I can admit it- it's an unhealthy obsession =) Right now though I really don't have time for a life so I live vicariously through celebrities. haha I'm online alot so look for me. =)
Music: OMG!! I could go on forever. I'm really diverse. All time favorite is hands-down Madonna. She's incredible. I like Greenday, Blink, U2, Panic! At the Disco, Cranberries, Natalie Merchant, The Killers, Pink, NoDoubt/Gwen Stefani, Coldplay, Matchbox20/RobThomas, Celine Dion (that one is for Drill Sgt. Gasaway), Micheal Buble, Eminem, Avril, 50, Beyonce, Linkin Park, Nelly, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kanye West(Gold Digger-I think I really just like Jaime Foxx!!)PCD, Kid Rock, Toby Keith, Dixie Chicks (I've never been one to pick sides) Tim McGRaw, Faith Hill, Dierks Bently, Allison Krauss, Kelly Clarkson, Bo Bice, Chris Daughtry, Cat McPhee, James Blunt, Elvis, the Beatles, All American Rejects (native Oklahomans)Aerosmith, Phil Collins, George Michael, Josh Groban, Charlotte Church.. TV: TV is my specialty. Let's start with Sunday and go through the week. Sun: 4400& Mon: CSI Miami & Apprentice Tue: Last Comic Standing, Real World (Key West is boring though=( , SVU,Boston Legal, American Idol(Tues&Wed) Wed. Big Brother, Lost and CSI NY Th: I'm still going through a slight Friends withdraw but Joey kinda helps. Not as good though but it seems to be getting better. Windfall, Will and Grace (Or WAG as Karen calls them), Alias (I'd wish they'd pick a day and go with it!) ER, Survivor (VCR are taping all night on Thursday - just too many good things on at once) Fr: I watch the shows I've had to tape throughout the week. I really miss Joan of Arcadia though. Sat: Gameday w/ Kirk Herbstreit and of course my Sooners!! SNL M-F shows on everyday: Start off every weekday with the Katie Courik Show (aka Today), Ellen, Days, Y&R, Oprah, friends/WAG reruns, ET,Letterman I know! I need a life!!
Books: I wish I like reading but I dont. I like magazines and maybe self-help books. If I'm reading a book it probably has something to do with class.
